Beamboxshow at Student Sounds October edition
Student Sounds is the largest student party in the South of The Netherlands and is organised two times a year in 013 Tilburg. Student Sounds has a clear concept: a great party for students with the best DJs and decoration, for a ticketprice as low as possible. The last edition hosted more than 2000 students of mainly Tilburg University, Avans Hogeschool and Fontys Hogeschool.

This production was a sponsored production from my placement company. I was involved in the organisation of Student Sounds and at the same time an internship at Dundas Produkties. In my time as internship I wrote an marketing strategie for Dundas Produkties. One of the recommendations was to sponsor big public events and create productmovies from this events. This will result in brand awereness among people which will lead to more sales. My supervisored agreed with this recommendation and decided to sponsor Student Sounds with a Beambox. My supervisor gave me the task of project manager. This meant I had contact with the event location (013), Suppliers (Resal Laser), the umbrella organisation of the event, the VJ (Spikkelpaard) wrote the scenario and was involved in the creation process of the production. At the day of performance I was in charge of the regie. I made sure that all parties would work together and now what they had to do. The time pressure was high because we only had one week to create, develop and execute this production. This caused several problems in anticipation of the event but we managed to tackle each one of them. We had to make concessions but made sure we created the highest achievable show in a short time. The show was filmed by multiple cameras and an product movie was made. This product movie is used multiple times to give potential new customers a preview of a show. Dundas Produkties got also more brand awereness after this show. The visitors on the website of Dundas Produkties increased with 200%! It was a very intens week were I worked a lot irregular hours, at show time it was all worth it!
